Today's job was to illustrate that sometimes "fast, cheap, good: pick at most two" is true. These are the cheapest shelves of this size that I could figure out how to build, a 2x4-and-plywood unit already loaded up with bins and tools.
Even so, they came to around two thirds of the price of buying something close, so I might switch to buying. That said, it was fun to have the apprentice helping.
