Having a nice lathe makes me way more willing to knock out a job like this one.
I started with a copper elbow fitting, a brass spacer ring, and a brass air-hose plug fitting.
After some work on the lathe, the brass pipe-thread fitting is pressed into the copper elbow, and together they make a new custom adapter.
