A good friend of mine "commissioned" this for his kid, for whom it's a personal icon. It is the symbol of chaos. If you knew this person, you'd agree it's an appropriate choice.
I cut it on the plasma cutter, and I think I sprayed it with some vinegar water to make it look even a bit more weathered.
