I have this old Stanley spokeshave that, unfortunately, I dropped, breaking the handle. It's made of cast iron, which is notoriously difficult to weld, so I thought I'd try TIG brazing it. It was also difficult, but it worked.

Here's a closer look at the brazed joint.

After grinding it smooth, it looked half decent, and it hasn't broken yet.
