The Gweike M3 Pro is a six-in-one: a 1,200 W fiber laser and an 80 W CO2 laser sharing a single machine, with a work area of about 24 x 24 inches. The fiber side is rated to cut mild steel up to 10 mm and aluminum, brass and stainless up to 6 mm; those are the manufacturer's ratings, not a promise about every cut. It is controlled with NexCut, has a rotary attachment, and is exhausted separately to the outdoors. It can also do laser cleaning and welding, although as of October, 2026, I have yet to try those.

It shipped at about 1,000 pounds, crate and all, and getting it into the basement shop was a project in its own right.
