A Bridgeport Series I vertical knee mill from the 1970s, living in the basement shop. It has a variable-speed 2 hp head, an R8 spindle, power feed on X and Z, and a DRO on all three axes. It's a worn machine, especially in the middle of the table where most of the work happens, but it does what I need it to. It came into the basement in pieces in 2022 and moved to a new room in 2025; both moves have write-ups.

A rotary table and a smaller dividing head live with it, which is how the gears got cut.

The mill on its way to its current room. It's sitting on sections of pipe, at which point a single person can easily roll it around with a crowbar.
